One Time Wheel Workshops
Curious about the pottery wheel?
Come see what the buzz is all about in this fun, 2 hour, beginner-friendly session!
Learn how to center clay, shape an open form, and pull up the walls to create your very own cup or bowl. Meghan will start things off with a demo, then help you step by step as you try it yourself.
At the end of class, you’ll choose your favorite piece to keep—we’ll handle the glazing and firing for you!
Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.

WHEEL THROWING: LEVEL 1.5

This short session is built for new-ish potters to build on lessons from level one, focusing on centering and pulling even cylinders.
If you can make a cylinder, you can make any shape on the wheel, so mastering this foundational skill will make you limitless!
This class also includes further study into glazing.

Take your pottery practice to the next level with Michael Lewis!
Explore shapes beyond the cylinder like bowls, bottles, pitchers, mugs and lidded forms. Further your skills in trimming while dipping your toes into the world of surface design.

Make beauty from the broken. Learn the art of Kintsugi (mending broken pottery with gold) with visiting instructor Jen Lo.
Reserve your space early for this popular workshop!
$150
Workshop includes a piece of pottery (made by JenLo) to break and repair. Bring your own broken pottery for JenLo to asses and consult on repair. Repair can be done during workshop of there is time, however you will leave with the knowledge to repair it yourself after workshop.

FROM SLAB 2 FAB: TABLE-SCAPING EDITION

Make pottery without a wheel!
Get hands-on and make a tablescape of your own design. Work with rolled slabs of clay to create plates, bowls, cups, serving platter and a centerpiece.
Test out different aesthetics and forms that take you from concept to creation.
Leave class with custom dinner ware and an understanding of the fundamentals of hand-building.
